Screwless terminal blocks resp. luminaire connectors of our LK 980 series allow quick, trouble-free and safe assembly during luminaire production, suitable for both manual and automatic installation, available with or without capacitor pre-fitted and with four alternative earth contact options, leaving only the “plug & play” connection to be made by the installer. For non-stationary luminaires a screwless strain relief option is available.

What are screwless terminal blocks?

Screwless terminal blocks are special connecting elements in electrical engineering that are used to connect electrical wires safely and easily. They are mainly used in luminaires, which is why Adels-Contact's screwless terminal blocks are also known as luminaire terminals.

How do screwless terminal blocks work? Which conductors can they be used for?

With screwless terminal blocks, the conductor is inserted into the terminal without the need for a screwdriver. The conductor is also released without tools by pressing a release button. The plug-in terminal block is suitable for solid and stranded conductors or for fine-stranded conductors with ferrules.
